This collection features artwork from one of the most meaningful murals I’ve had the honor of creating—my first installation in Southwest Detroit for the Bagley Arts Alley project. As 1 of 3 selected muralists, I felt a deep responsibility to create something that pays homage to the land and its history.
The piece depicts a woman of the Ojibwe tribe, honoring Detroit as the ancestral and contemporary homeland of the Ojibwe, Ottawa, and Potawatomi Nations—known collectively as the Council of Three Fires. Through the Treaty of Detroit in 1807, these nations, along with the Wyandot, ceded this land—but their spirit, contributions, and legacy still echo through the city today.
Each 11x17” print is a vibrant, high-quality reproduction of the original 18x30 ft mural I completed in just 3 days using spray paint and my go-to mindset: Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance (the 5 P’s).
Whether you’re passionate about Detroit, Indigenous history, or just appreciate artwork with powerful meaning—this print is a beautiful way to bring that energy into your space.
